●Email distribution service of Immigration services Agency of Japan
Please read and agree to the following before registration with this service.

●Objective
This service is intended to provide the latest information from the Immigration Services Agency of Japan, such as useful information on life in Japan and various procedures, for foreign residents in Japan directly, by email.

●Usage
This service is available free of charge (Excluding communication charges.).

●Overview of this Service
（Safety Assurance）
･The Immigration Services Agency of Japan takes the measures necessary to prevent registered information from leaks, loss, or damage, and to manage collected information properly.
･This service will not send emails with attached files for security reasons (Any emails with attached files will not be sent by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan via this service).
（Operation）
･This service uses cloud services operated by an external service provider. Information that has been sent to Immigration Services Agency during registration process is protected by SSL encryption.
（Information Acquired）
･This service requires registration of an email address in order to distribute emails, however, Immigration Services Agency of Japan do not collect any other identifying personal information.
（Purpose of Use）
･Registered information, such as an email address, will not be used for any purposes other than operation of the service.
･Statistical information such as the number of service registrants, is used as a reference for the smooth operation of the service, and may be published in some cases.
（Provision to Third Parties）
･Information collected via the service is not provided to third parties except in cases of legally-mandated disclosure or obligatory provision, however, it would not be applicable in case that illegal action such as registrating email address of someone else has been done.

●Caution
（Registration, Changes and Cancelation）
･The registration, changes and cancelation must be done by yourself. It is not possible to register, change or cancel this service by emailing to the contact address.
･In case of setting up domain-specified reception, please register the domain “isa.go.jp” as a safe sender.
･Your registration will be canceled without notice in case that the distribution is unable to reach the registered email address for a certain period of time. Furthermore, your registration will also be canceled in the event of acts violating this terms.
（Disclaimer）
･The service will not resend emails in case of delivery error, such as connection issues, for some reason.
･Email may not be received properly in some cases due to the user’s environment such as telecommunications carrier, device, service or network.
･Immigration Services Agency of Japan assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any damages resulting from using or not using the service. 
･Immigration Services Agency of Japan reserves the rights to change, transfer and terminate the service at any time without prior notice. Furthermore, Immigration Services Agency of Japan reserves rights to modify, change and delete the contents on the service at any time without prior notice.
･Immigration Services Agency of Japan assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any damages resulting from the service or modifying,  changing, transferring or terminating contents on the service.
（Language）
･English and plain Japanese version of the service is translated from Japanese version. In the event of any conflict between the Japanese version and translated version, the Japanese version shall prevail.

●The Terms and Governing Law
･The terms may be revised as needed.
･The terms of use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Japan.
･With regard to disputes between users and Immigration Services Agency of Japan, the users agree that the Tokyo district court shall be the exclusive court of the first instance.
